(1) Pre-1998 Dura and MaxEGlas pumps
have copper cones as part of the seal plate, which
should be permanently removed at motor replacement.
Your “200” seal in Go-Kit 54 will negate the need
for the cone. |

(2) Pre-1998 Dura and MaxEGlas II pumps
have copper inserts as part of the seal plate. To
lessen the potential for leakage, Poolhub strongly
recommends that you use Seal Plate Kit C203-194P,
which replaces the entire seal plate |
|
(3) Use silicone sealant (GE Silicone
II or equivalent) to seat shaft seals on these
models.
