Sunheater from SmartPools uses the pool pump to automatically pump water through the solar collectors. The water is heated as it moves through the collectors. Tube and web design traps the heat and catches light as the sun moves across the sky. The heated water is returned back to the pool through the return lines.                                 

A properly sized and installed system will raise pool temperatures up to 10° or more during the season.

Collectors should get full sun for at least 6 hours. The longer the collectors are in the sun, the better they work.

Installation is easy!                                              

Tough polypropylene material won’t rust, corrode or scale, and the collector is reversible. Crush resistant headers are reinforced with overmolded fiberglass!

Note: For Year-Round Swimming Areas, add a Solar Blanket to retain the heat and one Collector.
